About Southern Country
			Southern Country South Florida (SoCoSoFo) is a community-based all-volunteer nonprofit corporation dedicated to the promotion of Country & Western activities within the gay and lesbian community, providing a casual, non- pressured atmosphere for people to meet and enjoy other Country & Western dancers. Southern Country South Florida is a proud member of the International Association of Gay and Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs (IAGLCWDC).

			Spring Break Hoedown
			Every March Southern Country hosts a hoedown. Competitions and Exhibitions are always a highlight of any hoedown, and offer a great opportunity for attendees and the local community to see the very best in GLBT country-western dancing. The Spring Break Hoedown will feature a fully-sanctioned IAGLCWDC dance competition and a limited number of opportunities for dancers to strut their stuff just for fun during Friday and Saturday night's dances. Attendance at the competition is included with a full registration, and additional tickets for both the competition and the Friday and Saturday Dances/Exhibitions will be available at the door.
