| The South Florida Mustangs - America’s
FIRST gay and lesbian square dance club - is returning to operation
after a four-year absence. The Mustangs will be hosting FREE open house barn dances on the first three Thursdays of 2005, January 6, 13, & 20, at Hagen Park Community Center, 2020 Wilton Dr. (near Tropics Restaurant). You do not need to know how to square dance to attend these classes. Basic instruction will be given, and two-stepping and line dancing will be offered between square dance sets (known as “tips”). Refreshments will be served at these events. After the initial 3 barn dances, classes will begin on Thursday, January 27th, and continue for 20 weeks, after which graduates, having learned 75 calls, will be proficient in the first level of square dancing, known as Mainstream Visit http://www.soflamustangs.com/ for more information and to find related links about square dancing.
