NiBa
is the brainchild home store that was created by Nisi Barryman and
Beth Arrowood that was designed to offer the public a different style and
add color to their homes. After working for years for other people, they
decided to team up and offer a home store in the heart of Miami’s Design
District that would sell unique, hard-to-find, and slightly off-kilter décor
items that would fit perfectly into that empty space you’re looking to
fill.
After opening in December
2004, NiBa has grown quickly and now has an entire store dedicated to rugs,
glass, furniture, lamps and Art Deco artwork that both designers and
non-professional decorators alike will find appealing.
Within the walls of NiBa
there is something that is just what you wanted but didn’t know you
needed. There are some reclaimed items, one-of-a-kind artwork, and hand-crafted
glass works that are bright, colorful picture frames, monochromatic sheets,
wacky 70’s lamps, hand-made and designed rugs, shiny mirrors, fragile tables and
durable dressers. If this makes sense to you, get into the store. The stock at
NiBa has no limitation or category and can be placed next to others for a
completely unique look. At NiBa your creativity and imagine will be pushed to
new limits. The stock goes quickly so get in often.
We'd like to think that we
discovered NiBa, but here's the truth; Beth Arrowood and
Nisi Barryman have caught the attention of the design world in a
big way. From Oprah Magazine to Cargo, Elle Decor,
Architectural Digest and Metropolitan Home these two very
friendly and personable ladies have graced the pages of everything.
Don't miss NiBa on your Design District Miami outing. |
