2nd Best Pizza in Florida!
One of the most interesting pizza restaurants in South Florida would have to be Andiamo Brick Oven Pizza in Miami's 55th Street Station. This converted tire showroom is now one of the funkiest outdoor eating establishments in the area. With it's 1950's era design this restaurant is one that you drive by and instantly know you have to try out.  Andiamo was hailed by Men's Fitness Magazine as one of the "12 Must-Try Pizza Stops" in the USA. Andiamo's top-of-the-line toppings also earned it kudos as "The Best Pizza in Miami" by The New York Times (2001), this gourmet pizza place is not gourmet attitude.  With a friendly and helpful staff, anyone should have a great time people watching and just being envied by busy people driving by.   
 
andiamo brick oven pizza restaurantThe pizza selection is vast and interesting with pies like The Andiamo which has tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil. The Capricciosa that has prosciutto, artichokes, tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. The Tuscan Tuna has white tuna, capers, olives, roma tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms, mozzarella and arugula.   I was told that Andiamo's most popular pizza would have to be The Godfather with Italian sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, onions, peppers, mushrooms, olives, tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses or The Soprano which has hot and sweet Italian sausages, broccoli rabe, red pepper flakes, tomato sauce, basil, and mozzarella.

Andiamo Brick Oven Pizza North Miami FloridaTheir salads are authentic Italian with the leader being The Andiamo with mixed greens, peppers, onions, chic peas, mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, cucumbers and olives. They also have Antipasto, Greek, and Caesar salads as well.  Next time I go I want to try one of their numerous paninis or a cheesesteak.  
 
Besides the fierce food, I would have to say the best part of the entire dining experience would be the view from any table and that is in itself--priceless.  Everyone should eat there at least once and experience it for yourselves.  You can eat in, take out, or get free delivery (I wonder how far they'll drive).
