3rd annual Mr. Noche Latina
Contest (an official preliminary to Mr.
Florida Continental) took place on Monday
June 26 at Voodoo Lounge. The
event starred Lewis Nicholson
(Current reigning Mr. Noche Latina) Jose
Vega (Mr. Noche Latina 2004), Maite
West (Miss Noche Latina 2006),
Charisse (Miss Noche Latina Elite 2006),
Champagne Bordeaux (Miss Noche Latina
2005), Vegas Dion (Miss Noche Latina
2004), Amanda West, Barbara Brice and
Alyssa Kartiar.
This year's Mr. Noche Latina contest was
sponsored by Doug Lowerre, Hotflyers.com,
Coors Light, Mark's List (us), Argenti
Jewels, Just Circuit.com, Ketel One Vodka,
Windamar Beach Resort, Azucar, Better Bodies
Gym, O’Zone, Milancita.com, Latino Boys

The
attendance was great and the contestants
were even greater. There were 7 very
qualified contestants, but in the end the 1st
runner up was Edwardo Nunez and the
winner was Jose Navarro (who by the
way is VERY hot……take a look at the pic).
I am sure Jose will be
a great winner and a great representative
for the Latin community!! |

on Monday June 26th,
AJ Cross (one of the managers of
Cupids) was celebrating his 40th
birthday at Cupids Cabaret in West
Palm Beach. I heard the event was well
attended and everyone had a fabulous time!!

Sunday Jackhammer celebrated their
4th Anniversary of T Dance
and as usual the club was packed!!! Congrats
to Chris and Russell for 4

nation's first and only 24/7 radio channel for the GLBT community, will be the
exclusive national radio broadcast partner for Gay Games VII, an international
sports and cultural festival being held in Chicago from July 15-22 . SIRIUS
OutQ, channel 106, will broadcast coverage of the events of the entire week
including
live coverage of the Opening Ceremony from Soldier Field and the
Closing Ceremony from Wrigley Field, and interviews, profiles and
fascinating stories of many of the athletes, directors and performers. In
addition, SIRIUS OutQ hosts will offer color commentary and behind-the-scene
facts about the Gay Games. In its 25 year history, the Gay Games has become one

Chicago
will host more than 12,000 athletes from 70

Fort Lauderdale Hosts the 30th
Annual Gay Softball World Series |
|
During
the week of August 14-19, over 3,000 athletes and fans from 35 cities across
North America will converge right here in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida for Series 2006, the 30th annual Gay Softball World Series,
hosted by the South Florida Amateur Athletic Association. This annual
weeklong tournament will crown the champions in the eight divisions of softball
competition organized by the
North
American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance (NAGAAA). The Westin Fort Lauderdale
is the official host hotel of Series 2006 with the Sheraton Suites Hotel -
Cypress Creek, the Embassy Suites on SE 17th, and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel &
Casino in nearby Hollywood, Florida serving as additional host hotels. The
NAGAAA Summer Meeting, the “official business” of gay softball, will take place
at the Westin on Saturday & Sunday, August 12-13. Opening Ceremonies are
scheduled for Monday, August 14 at War Memorial Auditorium
followed by a complete slate of skills contests and an “Old Timers’ Game”. The
championship tournament kicks off on Tuesday, August 15 and continues throughout
the week at three local softball complexes. The Fort Lauderdale Host Committee
has put together a complete social calendar to showcase the host city including
parties at the Series 2006 sponsor bars. Also, the Annual Open Division Talent
Show and Celebrity Item Auction is scheduled for Wednesday, August 16th
at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino starting at 8pm with Jim “Bubba D.
Licious” Marks hosting, and with special guest stars from The Baton Show
Lounge in Chicago as well as Mr. Continental. Softball players will
display their “off-the-field” talents while autographed celebrity items are
auctioned off between the acts! This annual hallmark is always a fun event that
benefits local GLBT and HIV/AIDS grassroots organizations. Finally, Mills
Pond Park will host “Championship Saturday” followed by Closing
Ceremonies at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. American
Airlines and Avis Car Rental are the official travel sponsors of Series 2006.
