Pickler will be in concert on Thursday February 21 at 7:30pm

and Jay DeMarcus. These days, of course, they play for thousands of
screaming fans at night, drawn by state-of-the-art production and sound, and by
spectacular vocal harmonies in service to an ever-expanding catalogue of hits.

Flatts has entered elite territory. Six years into a career marked by
superlatives, they have become country music's premiere young headliners. Hits
like "These Days," "I'm Movin' On," "I Melt,"
"Bless The Broken Road," and "What Hurts the Most"
have taken them repeatedly to the top of the charts. They have sold over
thirteen-million records, with their fourth CD, Me and My Gang, charging
to double-platinum in ONE week. They have pulled in a host of awards and
accolades, and are the reigning CMA, ACM, CMT and ASCAP Vocal Group of the
Year. Their latest effort Still Feels Good was released on September 25th
and quickly reached #1 on the Billboard Top Albums chart. TICKET PRICES: $50.75
& $66. Kellie Pickler rose to fame on the 4th season of American Idol

Martini Tuesdays Celebrate its 7 Year
Anniversary at Cameo
On
Tuesday February 26th, Martini Tuesdays
will celebrate its 7 Year Anniversary with an
exciting event at Cameo. Martini Tuesdays is
Edison Farrow's weekly event for gay professionals that
meets in a different upscale venue every Tuesday night
at 9pm. Edison Farrow started this event as a gathering
for friends, but it grew into a phenomenon for Farrow.
The night eventually turned into a ritual of South Beach
social life, an event where the smart and fashionable
South Florida set come to see and be seen. Edison Farrow
now promotes concerts, specials and two weekly events
"Martini Tuesdays" and "The Simple Life" Thursdays at
Buck15 Lounge. There are now over 5,000 people on the
email list and the website www.SoBeSocialClub.com
receives over a million visits a year. The night will
also feature "The Boys Collection" Photography
Exhibition by Melissa Rodwell "The Boys Collection"
is a body of work that challenges society's viewpoint on
what is perceived as "sexy." Melissa Rodwell's
huge photographs (the largest measuring 50” x 60”)
celebrate the youthful male body in striking poses that
emanate energy, sexuality and vulnerability with a
distinct '70s glam-rock, androgynous edge. Photographed
over a three-year period, Rodwell envisioned a body of
images that would bring back the erotic sexuality of the
young male at a time when the current Zeitgeist is
oversaturated with female body-consciousness. Weary of
shooting female models, she turned her lens to male
subjects with breathtaking and thought-provoking
results. In addition Edison will feature a Underwear
Fashion Show / Photo Shoot. This exciting
Underwear Fashion Show will feature South Beach's most
stunning male models strutting and posing in underwear
by four different designers. The show will be shot live
at the event by Photographer Dennis Dean for an
editorial spread to run in an upcoming issue of 411

An Open Letter to
the LGBT Community: I Want to Be Your President!
by Senator Hillary Clinton
As I have traveled around the
country these past twelve months, what I sensed in my heart has been confirmed.
America
is embracing its LGBT sons and daughters with an acceptance and understanding as
never before. On the campaign trail, a father of a gay son will ask about ending
Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. A woman will ask why she can be discriminated against
just because of who she is. Sometimes they wait furtively for the crowd to thin
and then whisper their confidences in a soft voice and sometimes they stand up
proudly at town meetings and want me to share my views on how I will help lead
the change to assure that this country fulfills its promise to everyone. Let me
tell you what I have been telling voters across America. I am fully committed to
the fair and equal treatment of LGBT Americans. For seven long years, the Bush
Administration has tried to divide us - only seeing people who matter to them.
It's been a government of the few, by the few, and for the few. And no community
has been more invisible to this administration than the LGBT community. I will
change that. The best evidence of what I will do as President is what I have
already done. I am proud of my record as First Lady, as a U.S. Senator and as a
candidate for President in working toward the fair and equal treatment of LGBT
Americans. I am proud that as Chair of the Senate Democratic Steering and
Outreach Committee in 2006, I worked closely with LBGT community to develop a
smart strategy that defeated the Federal Marriage Amendment. I am proud of
fighting the FMA as divisive wedge politics at its worst. I am proud to be a
co-sponsor of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, the Matthew Shepard Local
Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act, and the Domestic Partnership
Benefits and Obligation Act which would grant the same benefits (including
health insurance) to domestic partners of federal employees that are currently
offered to employees’ legal spouses. I am proud to have authored the Early
Treatment for HIV Act, which expands access to vital treatment options for
low-income individuals living with HIV, and fought to fully fund the Ryan White
CARE Act. I am proud that I hired a National Director of LGBT Outreach within a
month of announcing my candidacy for President and to have openly gay and
lesbian staffers serving at all levels of my campaign. I am proud to have a
National LGBT Steering Committee of over 130 that includes openly LGBT elected
officials, Board members and opinion leaders on issues ranging from transgender
rights, to HIV/AIDS, to “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.” I am proud to have marched in
Gay Pride parades as both First Lady and as Senator and to have spoken in front
of so many LGBT audiences ranging from the Human Rights Campaign, Empire State
Pride Agenda, the Hetrick Martin Institute, PFLAG (Parents, Families, and
Friends of Lesbians and Gays), GMHC (Gay Men’s Health Crisis), and the American
Foundation for AIDS Research. I am proud to have fought Republican efforts to
demonize and marginalize the LGBT community, and I will continue to do that as
President. We have so much work to do. When I am President, we will work
together to make sure that all Americans in committed relationships have equal
benefits and that nothing stands in the way of loving couples who want to adopt
children in need. We're going to expand our federal hate crimes legislation and
pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act and assure that they are both
fully inclusive of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.
And finally, we will put an end to the failed policy of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
Courage, honor, patriotism and sacrifice – the traits that define our men and
women in uniform – have nothing to do with sexual orientation. My father was a
conservative Republican, who held very traditional views for much of his life.
Yet in his last years it was a gay couple who lived next door who provided much
of the compassion and comfort he and my mother needed as he grew ill. And it was
that same neighbor who held his hand as he died. If my father can move, America
can move. To each and every LGBT American, I say this. You have done so much to
help this country understand your lives by simply being open and honest about
who you are and living your lives with dignity. Thank you for your courage. It
is time that we recognize your hard work. I know that this country is ready for
changes in the law that reflects the evolution in our hearts. America deserves a
President who appeals to the best in each of us, not the worst; a President who
values and respects all Americans and treats all Americans equally no matter
whom they are or who they love. I want to be that President. I want to be your
President.
The Absence of Form Featuring the Artwork
of Mark W. Forman
Leche-Vitrines Art Alliance is
pleased to present The Absence of Form. This is an
exhibition of over 20 original paintings on canvas and board, ranging in size
from 36" x 36" to 72" x 48". The exhibition will be on display from
February 23- March 22. The opening reception with the artist will be
held on Saturday, February 23, from 7-10pm. Across the surface of
Mark Forman's paintings are powerful, yet delicately layered, textural shapes.
The variations on whites tinted with sand, transferred color, pencil and
multiple layers of gel media produce a more-than-obvious visual experience. The
absence of specific form creates an equality of importance to all parts of the
painting. Initially, the compositions appear to be reasonably uniform. However,
as the viewer's perspective and concentration deepen, so does the complex
imagery of the tactile surfaces. The textural surfaces, when lit with angled
lighting, reflect a meditative journey of light, shadow and depth. There is a
presence of stability and inward intellect, promoting thought and inner
concentration. The overall intensity and complexity of the work is not only
created by the tactile surfaces, but also by the subtle variations of the whites
under and over both color and gel media surfaces. The reductive color permits
the shapes, textures, and linear form to share the dominant visual features with
color becoming a secondary feature. Inspired by a ''less is more'' philosophy, a
love of simplicity and the reality of the complexity of life, Mark's work
fulfill these concepts with power, intellectual insight and sensitivity. The
results are abstract, reductive, monochromatic and polychromatic statements of a
personal philosophy and clarity. Currently living in Boca Raton, FL,
Mark W. Forman received his BA from Wagner
College, Staten Island, NY and his MA from Rutgers University, New Brunswick,
NJ. Over the course of roughly 30 years this artist has exhibited at various
prestigious museums and galleries throughout the United States. His artwork has
been chosen for public art projects in Florida as well as New Jersey. Mark W.
Forman has been awarded Fellowship Grants in 1979, 1983 and 1987 from the New
Jersey State Council on the Arts. His work has been collected by numerous
corporations including DuPont Corp, Wilmington, DE; Johnson & Johnson,
Raritan, NJ; Saks 5th Avenue, New York, NY; Short Hills, NJ; Boca
Raton, FL; Dadesville, FL and Macy's, New York, NY.

Andrew chose bamboo because it’s filled with micro-gaps that keep the fiber
super soft, yet durable; it’s anti-bacterial agents will not wash out and will
keep those who wear the garments, germ and odor free; the fabric allows for
quick evaporation of moisture and will not cling to the skin; and as an
eco-friendly material, bamboo grows quickly and thrives naturally without the
need for chemicals and pesticides. Since its inception in 1997, Andrew Christian
has been producing contemporary collections of urban inspired menswear that can
be found in exclusive boutiques around the world. His “uber-trendy” printed and
custom woven men’s and women’s underwear have helped Andrew Christian become a
household name and allowed the brand to expand to department stores and larger

Marie Antoinette: The Color of Flesh
Caldwell
Theatre Company
presents the Florida Premiere of Joel Gross’ seductive and compelling
drama, Marie Antoinette: The Color of Flesh this February 24 –
March 30. Set in France in the years leading up to and during the French
Revolution, Marie Antoinette: The Color of Flesh is the story of an imagined
love triangle between the 19-year-old Queen (who ages to age 38), her portrait
artist (loosely based on the actual portraitist Elisabeth Louise Vigee Le Brun)
and the passionate liberal aristocrat who loved them both. Featuring Amanda
Jones, who created the role of Marie Antoinette for the New York production
in April of 2007; Jason Griffith (as Count Alexis de Ligne) from stage,

orchestra in site” – Neil Genzlinger, The New York Times, in his
