Saw 3D: In a flashback sequence, as Jigsaw reveals himself to Adam (as seen in the first Saw), Dr. Gordon crawls from the bathroom to find help. Along the way, he reaches a hot pipe and uses it to cauterize the wound on his leg. The next scene is set in an urban shopping area, where a crowd of people gather around a storefront window. They are watching two men - Ryan and Brad - who are in a Jigsaw trap. The two are tied to a worktable, each with a buzz saw in front of them; their mutual lover, Dina, is suspended above. As she is being lowered onto another buzz saw, Ryan and Brad must choose to either kill the other person in order to save Dina, or allow her to die and win their own freedom.

Meanwhile, survivors of Jigsaw traps from the previous films gather together to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow Jigsaw survivor Bobby Dagen. The plot will also see Mark Hoffman and Jill Tuck battle over Jigsaw's legacy.
