Vacancy LOVED IT
*****(FIVE
STARS)
Fasten your seat belts for this will indeed be an
incredible thrill ride that promises to keep your adrenaline
running the entire time. However beware, this movie is
frighteningly realistic, and all together way to creepy.
The thought of snuff films alone is nauseating, and this
scenario was way to realistic and believable.
Everyone in this film was remarkable from the nerdy hick-boy
hotel Manager Mason (Frank
Whaley), to the squabbling soon to be divorced
couple Amy and David Fox (Kate
Beckinsale and
Luke Wilson ). You
never really got into why they were breaking up but you
believed it none the less.
Kate Beckinsale is
extremely lovely the entire film and quite honestly I think
she is at her best in Femme Fatale Roles. True this tale
made her a little more feeble and week, she was able to rise
to the challenge, and kicked ass.
Side Note -- I do not think this is a movie for children,
its to sadistic, and the trauma will be irreparable, however
adults will be mortified in a good way, and that is what I
call entertainment. Going to do one thing to take your mind
of another, and for that this was an excellent mission
accomplished.
Go see this tightly edited, magnificently pieced together 80
minute horror film. Horror at its truest form, leaving you
to frightened to go on a road trip and way to fearful to
stay the night in a little hotel.
