Transformers Umm it
was Good ***(Three Stars)
Look out summer blockbuster movies here comes the
Transformers. With Director
Michael Bay you will
know that no expense is withheld in creating some
incredible special effects. The action scenes were
incredible and maybe even at times a little overwhelming to
the point where I felt it was just all machine. At
times it was too confusing and you could not tell who is good and
who is bad. It's all robot leaving an enormous trail of mass
destruction. No building was spared which was very appealing to
the manly - man testosterone filled audience.
I did feel that this film was maybe a little to catered to
children. I was a major transformer fan
as a child, collecting all that I could get my hands on.
The plot became a little unbelievable for me. I
didn't mind the whole, we search for Sam Witwicky (Shia
LaBeouf) because he was unknowingly selling the
map to Pandora's Box on ebay. Yet the youth connection
should have started and ended with him. Because before you
knew it, it was a bit ridiculous. Honestly can you imagine
a National Crisis where Special agents from the FBI, The US
Military, and Section Seven Agents (a section so secret that
nobody knows it exists) are taking their
commands and directions from 4 teenagers?
I wont bore you with all the other reasons I felt this movie
was below par. Instead I'll leave you with a positive
note: This movie is not only visually appealing with the
advanced special effects, but its also above par where the
actors are concerned. Almost every principle cast member
was drop dead gorgeous. My personal favorite Captain
Lennox (Josh
Duhamel) and the Lesbians will surely splash when
Mikaela Barnes (Megan
Fox) comes on screen. Not only is she super
model gorgeous, she is butch in that she knows how to work a
car over, and becomes a true take charge kinda girl.
YUMM.
If you choose to see this movie, you will certainly
benefit, or should I say enjoy it much more on the big
screen. The good aspects of this movie outweigh the bad
and therefore leaving you with a few questions but with an
over all feeling of money well spent.
