AJ Cross - 'Bday' Extravaganza |
|
 For
the past seven years, AJ Cross has hosted a fundraiser
event under the guise of his birthday party. Since
his days at Cupids Cabaret, the Black Banana and now his
second year at Johnny's, his ‘Bday’ Extravaganza
Fundraiser has raised thousands of dollars for the Pride
Center, formerly GLCC, Poverello Center, Kids in
Distress, Covenant House, and other charitable
organizations.
These events have brought together
some of the most celebrated and talented members of the
GLBT community as well as GLBT Business Owners.
This year is no exception with SUNSERVE as the
beneficiary of this year’s AJ CROSS Bday Extravaganza on
Tuesday, July
27, 2010 at
8 p.m. The event will be hosted by ELECTRA
with special performances by recording artist John
Minnis, Misty Eyez, Alandra Matthews, TP Lords, Richard
Cortez, Mia Sangria, Gemini Stone, Johnny's Got
Talent Finalists and many more.
The event is sponsored by: The Pride
Center, Bottoms & Tops, Java Boys, Island City Eyecare,
Creative Male, Herradura, Fabscout, Living Room and
Beatnix Miami.
SUNSERVE is a Social Service Agency
providing many types of services to GLBT families in
Broward
County.
There will be a 50/50, Silent Auction and a Bachelor’s
Auction with some of the hottest men in
South Florida (the names are
secret).

Johnny's
Got Talent
This will be a Televised elimination
competition which will take place over 12 weeks.
There will be a panel of 3 local celebrity judges who
will give compliments, criticism's and encouragement on a weekly
basis. The show will air on YOUTUBE,
Comcast.net and Johnny'sGotTalent.com. Live
Auditions will take place on Monday, May 10th and Monday,
May 17th at Johnny's. Only 11 Acts will be
chosen for the show. Each week there will be
$400 Cash & Prizes given to the Act voted off the show.
That means there are NO Losers.
The
most exciting aspect to this competition is that YOU decide who
wins! The voting will take place through the
use of advanced text messaging system, such as that used in
American Idol. So the viewers will text their
favorite act and those acts which receive the highest text votes
will move on to the following week.
The finale will be one of the biggest
events of the season as the final 2 Acts fight for the Grand
Prize of $6,000 including an all expenses paid trip to NY City
where they will stay at a 5 Star Hotel and perform their winning
act in front of a live audience at the famous ESCO Club in
Manhattan.
The show will be sponsored by over 4 South
Florida Night Clubs, 3 LGBT Businesses located in
South Florida. We are pleased
that TP Lords has signed on as the hostess of the show.
If you are a singer, dancer, magician,
acrobat, Drag Queen or King, poet, musician, dance group, or
have any talent that you want to share with the world, please
join us on one of the Live Audition Dates.
