festival, celebrity antics, charity poker tournament, Las Vegas
Dyke March and an ALL GIRL Las Vegas Resort TAKE OVER!

Upon the arrival of the most highly
anticipated gay women’s event of the year, Las Vegas turns into
Les Vegas. For five wonderfully wicked days, September 6th-10th,
Sin City hosts
Shedonism, a continuous celebration promoting the
womanly art of and guilt-free devotion to sensual pleasures. The
very soul of Vegas lends itself to a healthy dose of debauchery.
Shedonism is slated to be Vegas’ largest
and longest lesbian party. It’s a sure bet the desert doesn’t
get any hotter! Scheduled to coincide with the city’s Pride
parade on Friday the 7th, this sin-fest heralds a new
Vegas lesbian tradition. As thousands of women are expected to
indulge, Shedonism vows to put the “wild” back in the West.
Though the unpredictable is always welcome,
Shedonism has been well-planned out and the girls will
experience the best Las Vegas has to offer as they exclusively
host events at the hippest clubs and haunts like Body English at
the Hard Rock, Tabu at MGM and Chateau at Paris. Your favorite
cast members of “The Real L Word” will be in town for the
duration, as are DJ’s from all over the country with an
entourage of hot leggy dancers. The roster includes: a welcome
bash, 3 dance parties aptly named Lust, Envy and Salvation, two
all-afternoon pool parties, a dyke march in
the Pride parade, a lesbian poker tournament, and a sumptuous
brunch. A VIP Sin Pass grants access to all events. Guests can
also purchase a la carte.
The official headquarters for Shedonism is
Rumor, a chic boutique hotel that is a
carefree off-strip destination just across the street from the
Hard Rock Resort and Casino. Located just off Paradise Rd. (how
fitting!), Rumor’s two-story layout, replete with 150 modern
suites, is built around a very cool, large central pool and
cabana area, the place for Shedonism’s high-energy pool bashes.
The hotel’s popular Addiction restaurant, under the creative
direction of Food Network Star finalist Vic “Vegas” Moea, hosts
the Gluttony Brunch. Rooms start at $104.
