X-TREME PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS:
FREEDOM, STARRING RALPH FALCON, DJ RANNY AND NANCY STARR
Celebrate 4th of July
with a Fresh Twist to the
Miami
Nightlife
July 4, 2010 – This Sunday,
Miami’s newest productions company, X-Treme
Productions, is proud to bring a fresh and exciting event to Miami. FREEDOM,
starring Miami legend DJ and producer Ralph Falcon and famous
hit-releasing DJ Ranny, takes place at Club 90 Degrees, located
at 90 NE 11 Street, in Downtown Miami. X-Treme
Productions, led by Ruth Thornquest, George Coronado, Yubi
Herrera and Alex Prieto, have gathered several of South
Florida’s socialites and promoters to create an event unlike any
other, with legendary entertainers, some of the hottest dancers
in South Florida and
around-the-clock entertainment to keep everyone on their toes.
This event will feature elements usual club-goers look forward
to and will introduce new material to the “scene.”
FREEDOM will take place in Downtown
Miami’s Club 90 Degrees, where simple yet, sophisticated design,
architecture and elaborate sound system & lights accomplishe a
seducing environment bound to entrance all attendees. With
its dark colors and black furniture, accented lights and décor,
the main room creates an ambiance of sexiness and energy unique
to this club on the strip. The second room, aka the LED
Room, boasts a golden scheme with a perfect view of the main
dance floor and stage. Most famous for its Fuego Fridays,
Club 90 Degrees has catered to the most energetic and vibrant
partiers of South Florida,
earning its reputation as a hot spot for the nightlife.
FREEDOM’s headliner is Ralph
Falcon, who first jumped into the scene at the age of 16 in
1986, by writing and producing his first Billboard charting
song, “I Wanna Know”. One of his most notable hits also
included “Dark Beat”, Funky Green Dog’s “Fired Up” and recently
released “Whateva”. Opening for the night is DJ Ranny,
a Boston
based Brazilian DJ who has headlined events for thousands of
people around the world. He has shared the stage with DJs
like Tony Moran, Junior Vasquez and Tracy Young and has remixed
various songs for artists like Donna Summer, RuPaul, Lady Gaga,
Britney Spears and Bob Sinclair. His original productions
of “Epic” and “Loca” featuring Rachel Panay and Nina Flowers
respectively, have been Billboard Club Hits. This duo has
created quite a stir among the grapevines, adding to the
excitement FREEDOM has to offer. In the LED room, DJ
Nancy Starr, a South Florida
independent re-mixer and DJ, will celebrate her birthday,
complimenting the night’s energetic ambiance.
The special performances at FREEDOM
will be nothing short of spectacular. Legendary
entertainers that will grace the stage include Kitty Meow,
Leslie Quick and Macaviti. Kitty Meow has been a
staple to the scene across the U.S. for many years. Kitty
Meow’s overall presence is that of exquisite taste and
personality. Kitty has performed around the world at
famous events including Factory in Los Angeles, White Party
Miami, Winter Party Miami and venues including the Roxy in New
York, Mansion Nightclub and Crobar Miami Beach to name a few.
Leslie Quick,
the brainchild of Actor Danny Santa Cruz, has been performing
the nightclub circuit for the past decade. Danny calls Leslie "A
Hybrid of Pop Cultures Best and Worst Characters". His most
recent venture "The Same Mobster Tour" a tribute to Lady Gaga,
is planning to tour the states then abroad.
Macaviti is captivating,
vigorous, avant-garde and eclectic! This dexterous diva’s
style is an exotic, androgynous bald and raw look with far-out
fashion and enough energy to power the U.S. Eastern seaboard.
When Macaviti is good, he is really good, but when he’s bad,
he’s better!
Throughout the night, FREEDOM will
feature various acts, including a fire breather, various dancers
to fulfill aesthetic pleasures and a few giveaways.
Joining FREEDOM is Sherhan Rodriguez, who competed in
America’s Best Dance Crew as a member of the G.O.P Dance team,
and Melissa Latza, who has danced for TV Shows such as
The Roof on Mun2, for numerous awards shows including Premio,
Juventud and MTV Latin Music Awards and choreographed for Ivy
Queen and for numerous awards shows including Premio, Juventud
and MTV Latin Music Awards.
