ten beautifully furnished bedrooms in the Edwardian style, yet mindful
of your comfort and convenience.Open year-round, the Bed & Breakfast at the William Lewis House is located just off Logan Circle, near the corner of R and 13th Streets. Originally opened as a single house after an extensive ten-year restoration, the William Lewis House expanded in 1999 to include the house next door and the garden between the two houses. The combined grounds provided space to create a wonderfully landscaped courtyard that includes a large sitting porch, hot tub, water garden, limited off-street locked parking and a large deck to connect the two houses. Each bedroom is decorated with a charming blend of family heirlooms and selected antiques. Fluffy, white cotton bathrobes in each closet help make trips to the shower and hot tub more convenient. An alarm clock is provided for your wake-up needs. Each room is equipped with high-speed internet, ceiling fans and a majority of the rooms are furnished with a writing desk for your convenience.  The
William Lewis House is located near tourist and Gay attractions alike,
with easy access by foot, automobile and subway. The relaxed atmosphere
in the houses and courtyard will enhance your visit to the nation's
capital.Each weekday morning enjoy a continental-style breakfast. On Saturday and Sunday mornings feast on a home-cooked breakfast. David and his wonderful and loveable dog, Ruthie, look forward to your arrival and stay in their home. |
