Miami Beach LGBT Pride
announces headlining talent!
DJ
Danny Tenaglia, Estelle, Robin S, Crystal Waters, Alexis Arquette and
Marger are set to perform on the dance stage.
DJ Danny Tenaglia
(born March 7, 1961) is a New York-based DJ and Grammy nominated record producer. The tale of Danny
Tenaglia's love affair with music, and the world's subsequent romance
with him, is one of the critical veins in the body of dance music. He
is every dancer's secret discovery; a random purchase at the record
store, a reluctant night out that unexpectedly turned magic.
Explosive success for him came not behind a major label release, or a
world tour or a radio hit remix: It happened when enough people had
the private Tenaglia experience for themselves.
Estelle is an
English R&B singer-songwriter, rapper and producer. She won a Grammy
for American Boy featuring Kanye West in the category best rap/sung
collaboration. She also has received the MOBO for 'Best Newcomer' and
received three consecutive 'Best Female Artist' trophies from the UK
Hip-Hop Awards.
Robin S (born April 27, 1962, Queens, New
York, U.S.) is a singer-songwriter, who scored success in the 1990s
with such hit singles as "Show Me Love" (which was her debut single
and a #1 Club hit) and "Luv 4 Luv". She has had 6 number ones on the
Billboard dance chart.
Crystal Waters is a woman whose talent
and brand has sustained her 20-year career, yet the breadth of her
work continues to engage new fans and please her enormous base. She
is best known for her string of domestic and international number one
dance hits in the 1990's, including her 1991 signature smash, "Gypsy
Woman (She's Homeless)", which garnered her three American Music
Award nominations and made her an international sensation. "Gypsy
Woman" became a global, number one smash because of its
socially-conscious lyrics and its positively infectious hook.
Alexis Arquette: Perhaps the most enigmatic -- and unpredictable --
member of the Arquette acting dynasty, Alexis Arquette has appeared
in a huge variety of colorful supporting roles that have highlighted
both his range and eccentricity as a performer. The grandson of
vaudevillians, son of veteran character actor Lewis Arquette and poet
Mardi Arquette, and brother of Rosanna, Patricia, David, and Richmond
Arquette, he was born in L.A. in 1969. Like his siblings, Arquette
broke into film at a young age, making his screen debut with a minor
role in Down and out in Beverly Hills in 1986. He had his first
breakthrough as Georgette, a sensitive young man with a crush on a
neighborhood thug in Last Exit to Brooklyn (1990).
Marger: lead
singer in the Latin version of the hit musical "Fame" and one of the
best voices out there. After touring all over South and Central
America this incredible singer from Venezuela will delight the audience
with songs from her debut album "Como Te Digo".
