The next Gay "Glass Bottom
Boat" Cruise takes place on Sunday, August 17th, and is
exclusively for gay men. The ship sails from 5:30 - 8:30 P.M. aboard the 42 Ft "Sea
Experience" from Bahia Mar in Ft Lauderdale to one of South Florida's
lushest coral reefs off of Sebastian (gay) beach. Swim, snorkel (equipment
included), or just party! The boat will feature music, free Snow Queen Vodka
drinks, Presidente Light Beer, and Snacks. BYOB is ok and the mixers are
included. The cost is $40 w/ reservation in advance by the Friday before, and

A.D. Theatre of Tampa
is proud to complete their 2007-2008 season with The
Full Monty, the
hit
Broadway musical-comedy
based on the 1987 British film of the same name. The show will run on
August 15-17, 22-24 and 28-31 with evening &
matinee performances available at the
HCC Ybor Theatre
(Palm Avenue and Avenue Republica de Cuba -14th Street). The show is directed by
Justyn Wade Dansby, and choreography by Elizabeth Robins-Edelson
with musical direction by Phyllis Gessler and produced by Adam Bost.
Seeing how much their wives enjoy watching male strippers during their "Girls'
Night Out," unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York come up with a bold way
to make some quick cash. In the process they find renewed self-esteem, the
importance of friendship and the ability to have fun. As the guys work
through their fears, self-consciousness, feelings of worthlessness and anxieties
(over everything from being overweight to child custody, bigotry to being gay),
they come to discover that not only are they stronger as a group, but that the
strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to face their
demons and overcome them.
