Masters of Latin Art 

Masters of Latin Art At the Boca Raton Museum of ArtAt the Boca Raton Museum of Art, now through November 26th, they are featuring a collection called Masters of Latin America:  From the Joan and Milton Bagley Collection that contains more than 60 paintings and sculptures never before exhibited by many of the most important Latin American artists of the last century.  The Boca Raton Museum of Art is located at 501 Plaza Real in Mizner Park.  You can go to www.bocamuseum.org or call them at 561*392-2500 for further information.

Bank Atlantic Loves the Arts 

As I have reported earlier this summer, Bank Atlantic has teamed up with the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale to give free admission all summer long.  Well, they have decided to extend it until November 1st  Currently on display, they have William Glackens who was one of the most influential American painters of the first decades of the 20th Century.

Target Globalbeat 

Target Globalbeat at Carnival Center Miami Florida

On Sunday, October 8th, the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts will conclude their  Grand Opening Celebration by having a Target Globalbeat.  This will be a free concert and there will be both indoor and outdoor performances all day long throughout the entire complex, including the spectacular Miami Carnival Parade.  Festivities begin at noon and will conclude at 10pm.  Target Globalbeat is presented by Target and will feature more than 40 performances by hundreds of local artists and represent more than 20 countries and feature international acclaimed touring bands, Grammy nominees, traditional folk performers, and homegrown favorites.  This will be a huge celebration of Miami’s cultural diversity and talent as well as an opportunity for all South Floridians to be among the first to visit Miami’s new home for the performing arts—FOR FREE!
