very own Nadia Turner
will be performing at this years
“Annual Furr
Ball,” on Thursday,
November 9th.
The gala fundraiser, benefiting The
Pet Project
of
Fort Lauderdale will be held at the
Josephine S.
Leiser Opera Center.
The evening will feature live and silent auctions of a
variety of exciting items, services and artwork donated
by local merchants and supporters of The Pet Project.
Live entertainment, an open bar and a wide variety of
scrumptious hors d’oeuvres catered by the top
restaurants of Fort Lauderdale including;
Galanga,
Laffing Matterz, Caffe Blu, Mancini's, Lucarella's,
Hollywood Bistro, L'Hermatage,
Boulevard Bistro of Hollywood, Mario's Catelina, Kilwins of Las Olas,
The Chef's Table catering, and C.A. Catering.
The evening will feature live and silent auctions of a
variety of exciting items, services and artwork donated
by local merchants and supporters of The Pet Project,
including;
Bone Appetite, Pet Portraits by Elena, Tina Vallant Pet
Photographer, A Pet Masseur, Petropolis Boarding,
Seminole Indian Village Zoo, Barkley’s of Hollywood,
plus a first look at Nadia Turner’s very own
clothing line....
Music will be provided by "The Max Band" (www.themaxband.com)
$100 VIP Tickets include admittance to VIP reception,
reserved seating at a table plus open bar. Admission is
$75 per person, which includes open bar.

The Pet Project,
a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation/ charitable
organization whose dedicated goal is a true “Labor
of Love” assisting terminally ill people, who’s
only companion may be their beloved pet. Felix
deBruin,
Executive Director of The Pet Project, said “We
are thrilled to have Nadia Turner as part of our
charity
Furr Ball. In addition, the response we have
received from local restaurants and merchants has been
truly exciting. It is amazing to see the South
Florida community coming together, to help raise money
to support The Pet Project.”
Felix added, “Without the Pet Projects’ help
and financial support many people would lose their
beloved cat or dog due to the expenses they face with
hospital stays, expenses or merely the added expenses of
vaccinations, prescriptions and proper food to keep
their pet healthy.”
Charles Podesta, (Versace home chef and chef to the
stars including Mohammed Ali,
Cher, Madonna, Bill Cosby, etc..) will be coordinating the

ArtErotica Comes to ArtExpressions Thru Nov 16th
Now, through November 16th, ArtExpressions will
be hosting an exhibit titled, ArtErotica. This show
features works in various media by emerging and
established artists that celebrate sexuality and the
beauty of the human body. This is all to promote a
deeper, healthier, and more tolerant appreciation of
human sexuality. There is an opening reception this
Saturday, October 14th at 7pm
with wine and cheese and a Meet and Greet of the
