Big Pink is best known for it's dinners served on TV trays, gigantic burgers and huge portions of fries. They also have a gigantic menu filled with All-American classic comfort food. There are over 10 salads, every kind of Deli sandwich imaginable, fried chicken and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. You'll be amazed at the dessert menu.

The service is fun and light hearted. Our waiter, Jason, was cute, very entertaining and attentive. I had the famous TV dinner. The mandarin orange, walnut and spinach salad was great, right on the money. I was surprised to have fresh green beans and homemade red-skinned mashed potatoes. The turkey gravy was perfect. The meat on the open-faced turkey sandwich didn't live up to the taste and quality of the side items, but that's only because they were way above average in freshness and taste.

My friend had the sundried tomato fusilli and enjoyed every bite. On other visits we've tried wraps, pizza made in their wood burning oven, and several sandwiches including the California BLT made with layers of crisp thick cut bacon, lettuce, tomato with sprouts, avocado and creamy basil mayonnaise sandwiched between slices of toasted white, wheat or rye.

Big pink is open until 5 AM on weekends and they deliver on SoBe. The prices are reasonable, expect to spend between $5 and $10 for your entree (about $14.00 for the TV dinner). If you want cocktails, they have a full liquor bar.
