About
8 Guys Out was created to meet the needs of gay men who are not happy using clubs, chat rooms, personal ads or online profiles to socialize with their contemporaries. We believe that the best way to meet upscale and successful men is through social interaction. That's why we use a dinner party for eight to bring our members together. The restaurant setting provides a safe and neutral setting for each attendee and the dining experience seems to put people at ease.

People, not computers, plan our dinner parties. We use an in depth interview process to help us understand what your interests and aspirations are so that we can introduce you to like-minded contemporaries. This formula has proven to be an overwhelming success with the straight community through a company called Dinner Introductions.

Jocelyn Fenyn & Robin Koocher
founders of Dinner Introductions
Jocelyn Fenyn, a former executive at a major network, and Robin Koocher, a pioneer in internet marketing, decided to form Dinner Introductions after they went on a business trip to Wimbledon. Eight of the travelers were single. Throughout the trip, they would meet for dinner at a different fabulous restaurant every evening. The process of getting to know each other seemed effortless. The eight diners became fast friends!

Dinner Introductions has become the premiere social dining club for single straight folks over forty - a vehicle for the mature and sophisticated single to meet new people.

The concept of 8 Guys Out was created because of all the telephone calls and emails inquiring if Dinner Introductions created dinner parties for gay men.

We took a survey of gay men and asked if the Dinner Introductions concept needed any major changes to meet the needs of gay men. Our research indicated the concept was perfect…just create a new division with it's own name and have gay men host the dinner parties.

Gay men—-fine dining … the perfect combination … 8 Guys Out was born.

How it Works

Step What 8 Guys Out Does How You Benefit

3 Once you have joined the club, we will set up a one-on-one telephone interview at your convenience. The interview typically lasts a minimum of 30 minutes. During the interview we focus on your interests, needs, and motivation for joining 8 Guys Out. This allows us to match you with compatible dining companions.
4 We will contact you to join a dinner party of eight at one of our "A" List restaurants. Not only do you have the potential to meet 7 new friends, but you will be sharing in the best dining experiences available
5 Before each dinner party we will email you to give you some details about your dinner companions. 8 Guys Out wants you to experience only excitement - no anxiety! We handle everything. You only decide what to wear. Read our "What to Bring" list.

7 8 Guys Out will host a round of drinks and get the conversation rolling. You won't experience the awkwardness that often occurs when a group of strangers come together for the first time.
8 After drinks, you will be seated at a round table with your new companions. A round table fosters conversation between all eight individuals and yet still provides the intimacy required to make new friends.
9 You order off the menu, pay your own individual tab, which includes a 20% gratuity. No hassles over "who owes what".
10 The next day 8 Guys Out will contact you via phone or e-mail to get your feedback about the evening. Your feedback is essential to maintaining our reputation and for constantly improving the dining experiences you provide. So we really want to know what you think.

SPEND VALENTINE'S DAY WITH 8 GUYS OUT...and DINNER TOO
The Popular and Private Gay Dining Club Opens in
Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach

New York - January 11, 2005 - Attention Gay Men of South Florida - - 8 Guys Out,
(www.8GuysOut.com), the popular and private dining club for gay men has arrived....Just in time for Valentines day, the company has announced that they will now be hosting dinners in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. This new division of 8 Guys Out, will be headed up by Alan Gabay.

A client of 8 Guys Out receives invitations to three specially-booked dinner parties with seven other like-minded men of substance at fine dining restaurants in their respective cities. Every client is interviewed extensively prior to attending his first dinner, focusing on the client's needs and motivation for being there. The pre-interview ensures that each member of 8 Guys Out will dine with companions who share similar expectations and interests.

With offices in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles and now South Florida, the company offers single & successful gay men an intimate and upscale dining experience.

Matchmaker and Cofounder of 8 Guys Out Robin Koocher said, "As soon as we discussed our expansion to South Florida, we were over-whelmed by the positive response and support we received from the gay community here."

"Having Alan and his expertise on board with us makes it even more exciting in arranging some fabulous dinners for our clients." "We look forward to working with and supporting the gay community of South Florida." adds Koocher. "This is a great way for people to come together, relax, enjoy a meal together, and the company of others...If friendship or anything romantic blossoms, then all the better."

Added Alan Gabay, COO and Dinner Host of 8 Guys Out- South Florida, "I could not be more proud to be part of the 8 Guys Out family. Working strategically with them, we hope to build 8 Guys Out, making it a nationally branded organization for gay singe men to try a different way of meeting people."

Furthering their support of the gay community, 8 Guys Out recently signed on as a sponsor for The Advocate Golf Classic in Florida, benefiting the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.

8 Guys Out is the brainchild of New York City businesswomen, Jocelyn Fenyn and Robin Koocher. Having started Dinner Introductions two years ago where they booked dinners-for-eight for straight men and women over the age of 40, Ms. Fenyn and Ms. Koocher realized they could use the same model to help hundreds of other single gay men find a new relationship or a new friend.

Anyone Gay or Straight reaches a certain point where the bar and club scene gets old - So how do you meet people?

How do you date? What if you are new to town?

Not to mention many professionals in the Gay community, are not out professionally, making it even tougher to meet people socially.

8 Guys Out does not promise that everyone will find their soul mate sitting next to them, but they do provide single gay men with a sophisticated, private alternative to meeting their peers..
